Will Using CBD Show Up On A Drug Test

Many of our customers ask Will Using CBD Show Up On A Drug Test. The short answer to that question is ‘it depends.

As a rule of thumb, drug tests usually screen for THC or one of its primary metabolites, such as THC-COOH. So the real question becomes, will the CBD product that I use show up on my drug test. The answer to that depends on several factors.

If you use marijuana, the THC level will be high enough to cause a positive on your drug screen. So the answer is yes, you will probably fail a Drug Test.

If you use a CBD isolate that has no THC, then you’re most likely good to go.

However, if you use full-spectrum CBD or a CBD vape oil, the answer will depend on the lab. Different labs have different thresholds for what they consider positive for THC.

drug screenFor example, the federal confirmatory drug test level is 15 (ng/mK)

Some employers and labs are more lenient, so their threshold is lower. You will probably pass if you use a full-spectrum CBD with less than 3% THC.

Therefore, it is wise to let your employer know that you use CBD beforehand so that if THC does show up on your drug screen, they will know why. CBD derived from the hemp plant is currently legal and perfectly fine to use. But if your employer does not know ahead of time, they may think the THC score comes from you smoking marijuana.

In our stores, we sell several kinds of CBD products. All are made from the hemp plant and not from marijuana plants. Our isolate contains no THC, so it will be safe to use. Our full-spectrum CBD products contain less than 3% THC. That makes them perfectly fine to use but might cause a false positive on a drug test if the testing threshold for THC is high.

The THC-free version of CBD is our most popular for various reasons. One reason is that folks can safely take it and usually pass a drug screen. However, it must be said that there are many compounds in the full-spectrum CBD that some people consider to be beneficial. But since full spectrum CBD has 3% or less THC, you may run the risk of failing a drug test if you’re wondering Will Using CBD Show Up On A Drug Test.

CBD isolate will probably not show up on our routine drug test. Full-spectrum CBD may or may not show up depending on the lab’s threshold.

If you want to avoid THC all together, ensure that you’re purchasing CBD isolate from a reliable source.

At Hemp Lively Farms we grow our own Hemp plants and then process them in our lab to make sure you get only the finest THC free CBD isolate on the market.
